Family Life

Family Life ministry of Covenant Fellowship cares for families in all season of life, from engagement, to parenting, to grandparenting. We believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption.  We have several specific ways that we care for the families in our church.

Married Couples

Marriage is the first institution created by God and the only one that He created before the Fall. He goes so far as to declare that marriage, when rightly lived out, is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the church. With such an important testimony to give, it is only right that the church itself invest all we can to ensure that the marriages of the church are strong and successful.

To that end, in addition to the faithful preaching of God’s Word on Sunday mornings, we provide regular meetings throughout the year focused directly on the topic of marriage. They are available primarily to married and engaged couples, though often the whole church is invited to attend.

Revive: Overcoming Obstacles, Confronting Fear, Embracing Hope

Have you ever wanted to go somewhere but had no idea how you'd get there? Maybe it was a personal retreat or a family vacation. Maybe it was a professional goal or a personal hobby. Or maybe it is a goal you have for your marriage. You know you want a thriving marriage, you just can't figure out how to get there from where you are now. If you find yourself in that place, you're not alone.

Together in October, we examined a fresh vision for marriage, even for struggling marriages, when we met for Revive: Finding New Life and Fresh Vision for the Years Ahead. (If you missed that meeting, please click HERE to listen to that message.) On March 7 at 7:30pm at Covenant Fellowship, we will gather for Revive: Overcoming Obstacles, Confronting Fear, Embracing Hope, where we will lay out a road map for pursuing that vision. We'll examine best practices as well as common potholes that couples hit along the way.

In the end, we want to leave revived for a fresh start at hope, knowing that God desires our marriages to thrive in grace as both husband and wife, both separately and together to live and love for his glory. Please consider coming out and joining us.
